Here's another flying event I missed. If you did. Here's a good report on what we missed.
It has a been a busy week/weekend for RC flying events. With the Fly for Tots RC flying event that raises money for kids and the N.E.A.T Fair all happening.
Hope a few of you got to go. For the rest of us suckers, its a thank-you to RCGroups (again) for providing some fully sick coverage!
Yet another RC flying event I managed to miss..... The E-Jets International. A electric only RC jet event that brings RC jet enthusiasts from around the world together to show how the gas turbine powered RC jets are going to become obsolete.

Here's a fully sick video by HorizonRC, covering the 2009 IRCHA RC helicopter show.
The crowd and pilot favorite for the show was E-flite's Blade mSR. That has raised the bar for all electric RC helicopters.
For all you RC helicopter fanatics out there don't forget the IRCHA Jamboree is on! If you can't be there check out here and here for coverage of the event.

In my opinion the best RC pilots are the one's that can fly RC helicopters. Not hovering or doing circles, but the few that fly 3D.
The percentage of the population that have the natural skill to fly a RC helicopter is less than 7%. Not to mention the cost of crashing and the patience required to be able to fly like this.
These guy's are the ultimate RC'ers!!!

fully sick RC. You should have been at the Kentucky RC jet show. One of the biggest in the U.S.A.

If you are into warbirds. The "Warbirds over Delaware" RC airshow is where you should have been. It is one of the biggest RC airshows in the U.S.A and one of the longest running.

One of the true highlights of the event. Was a groundhog that had serious attitude! It started off by chasing RC pilots then turned its anger to a beautiful scaled U.S Army B-2 Bomber. Resulting in a few battle wounds to the RC airplane. Courtesy of a anti-RC groundhog!!

If you are into Giant RC airplanes, being flown by extreme pilot's, that do fully sick stuff with them.

For those you can't get there like me. There is the Flying Giants forum that will be streaming live the whole airshow. So grab a beer and dream about owning a RC airplane like that or at least being able to fly like that. I am!!!
If you have never heard of the RC TopGun show, its because you probably only fly parkflyers and electric ducted fan jets made out of foam....don't worry so do I.
The TopGun RC show is where some of the best RC pilots and builders in the world converge to show off their fine craftsmanship and flying skills and to be crowned "the best" in their category.
There is certainly a lot of money buzzing around up there.
If you missed out on SEFF ( Southeast electrical flight festival ) 2009, that has just been and gone. Don't worry, I found a pretty good youtube channel that has loads of videos from the electric only festival. That shows the line up of all the new products to come out this year from the manufacturers and heaps of flying.
Including the downfall of one of the biggest RC flying wing ever. The Ohio Combat SRT-10 - 13 feet of twin motored flying wing fury.
