Check this fully sick RC jet out! It's a scratch built foamy that resembles something the Russian's would have built back in the Cold War days.

What's fully sick about this RC Jumbo jet is it has 10 EDF (electric ducted fan) units to power it!

This is what RC is all about, pushing the "fully sickness"
of RC.

Also check out this RC car jumping a school bus, awesome control of the car in the air!!!

In my opinion the best RC pilots are the one's that can fly RC helicopters. Not hovering or doing circles, but the few that fly 3D.
The percentage of the population that have the natural skill to fly a RC helicopter is less than 7%. Not to mention the cost of crashing and the patience required to be able to fly like this.

These guy's are the ultimate RC'ers!!!

For all you airplane fanatics who want to keep up to date with what's happening at Oshkosh, favorite

Big or small male or female everyone loved Knight Rider. If it was the Hoff man himself that attracted you to the show or that fully sick car that did it. You either wanted be like the Hoff man or have that car.

Well, now you can. The RC equivalent that is. It has all the bells and whistles like the real Knight Rider. The only downside to this perfectly scaled RC car is you can't get in it.

Check out this modified one!!!

Ever wondered what's it's like to fly a RC airplane with weapons on it? Check out this video series to find out!

There is a 99% chance that if you love RC airplanes you must like the big ones. Especially if it's a place where innovation and experimental are the two words that are combined with aviation.

If you are one of the 99% of airplane lovers. The place to be or should be is the AirVenture Oshkosh celebration!

Here's a fully sick how to video, about adding a bit of color to your RC car parts.

Panasonic's new EVOLTA battery. Will be put to the test this Wednesday. The test?
Try and break the long distance record for a RC vehicle.

Guess what they will be using as the RC vehicle?? A battery powered RC Tricycle!!??!! I mean who buys their kid a RC tricycle for a present? Surly a RC monster truck would do for better advertising?

There's nothing like loud, fast and expensive RC hardware flying about. If you wanted your dosage of
fully sick RC. You should have been at the Kentucky RC jet show. One of the biggest in the U.S.A.

If you missed it. Here's a fully sick video that will inspire you to go next time!

What do you do if you're a RC'er that is a Jules Verne fan, especially the book, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and have a lot of money???

You get a guy named Bob, to build you the RC version of the Nautilus Submarine. Not just a shelf queen that is a masterpiece in it's self. But a working RC version. That can actually dive and move under water.

This is fully sick RC stuff right here!!!

Those of us that fly RC airplanes. Have seen or more likely experienced a crash. The day usually turns to sh@t after the incident. Especially when you have punctured your lipo and destroyed your $100 ESC.

This video shows a RC airplane crashing, first person style. What happened was the battery fell out! Resulting in a total loss of control. Thanks to the on board camera we see the whole situation play out. Including the firefighters getting the RC airplane out the tree!

Check it out!

Here's another USB "distraction" to have at work. A USB powered RC micro helicopter.

To charge, simply plug it into your USB port. Then buzz your cubicle neighbor, who will probably have one of these with a bit of paper taped to it saying "off". You'll get the idea.

Let the war commence....

Want the latest news, pics and video for the 2009 ROAR fuel Nationals? Look no farther than RCCarAction.

I thought this would make a interesting read.

Pretty much a Company wants to put ads on the moon.... As we all know there is no wind, water or people? (that I know of) on the moon. Which means nothing can "remove" the ads once they are up there.
The plan is the company will develop a RC robot that will "print" the highest paying customers ad on the surface of the moon.
For who to see, I don't quite know.

Check out the "fully sick" video

Ever get that urge to be a treasure hunter. To find something valuable or just interesting? Well now you can combine your RC sickness with your treasure hunting dreams!

Over at Hammacher Schlemmer you can get your very own metal detecting RC car. To take down to the local beach.
Besides combining your RC passion with treasure hunting is, you won't get any stares from people who think you're some kind of creep. Instead they'll think, ....what a RC geek :)

To mark the 40 year anniversary of the moon landing. Here is a video of a 1:10 scale Saturn V model rocket, launching successfully and getting into the record books for the largest model rocket ever built.
You can't get much better than this.

This beautifully scaled model rocket was built by Steve Eve's. This is his story.

If you are into warbirds. The "Warbirds over Delaware" RC airshow is where you should have been. It is one of the biggest RC airshows in the U.S.A and one of the longest running.
Check out RCU coverage of the event for pics and video.

One of the true highlights of the event. Was a groundhog that had serious attitude! It started off by chasing RC pilots then turned its anger to a beautiful scaled U.S Army B-2 Bomber. Resulting in a few battle wounds to the RC airplane. Courtesy of a anti-RC groundhog!!

If you didn't already know. The iPhone 3GS takes descent quality aerial video. As you can see by the video.
But man, you either have a lot of money or you're a descent pilot. To risk doing this.

Check this out!

A steam powered RC robot that feeds on plants and dead people. (pretty much anything organic). To fuel it's need for speed. Talk about mixing up technology.

RC Universe has a great article on the recent ROAR electric off road nationals. That includes the results, heaps of pics, the RC'ers and loads of fully sick videos to keep you going for a while.

Enjoy!!!

Ever tried driving or owning a RC Dirt bike? I once had a electric version years ago. It didn't have any fancy gyros to keep it upright. So you had to "push start" it. To get some speed to balance. Then pretty much you didn't slow down, otherwise it would start wobbling and fall over.
It was quite a handful!

RC Car Hall of Fame

At last, RC'ers now have their own Hall of fame. It may only be for RC cars at the moment but the other RC stuff will get theirs soon.

Congratulations to Matt Francis, who is the first inductee to be in the RC car Hall of Fame. Chosen for his contribution to the hobby and being a fully sick RC'er!!!

( P.S I'll be there soon...... )

Up for some RC night flying???. This guy, Dave/Nightflyyer made a name for himself flying RC at night. Here's a recent video of him RC flying at night.

Check out his YouTube channel for all his other fully sick RC stuff.

It's a Friday morning. The last day of trading. Your boss starts giving everyone the prep talk. Inspiring you to make more sales, make more money. So the share price could go up and he can get his bonus.

You want to say "who gives a flying fu#k" what the share price is. It's Fu#cking Friday!!!!
Well know you can!! Using a RC flying Fu#ck sign, which is actually a RC helicopter.
Instead of the traditional helicopter body hanging below the rotors. It's a sign, that says Fu#k. So while your boss is going on. All you need to do is "fly what you think" at the prep talk.

Yet again RC is saving the day!!!

Feeling a little ambitious this weekend?? You better, because here are some instructions to build a 1/4 scale RC car!

Good Luck

Here's a interesting read. Sony, makers of the PSP or PlayStation Portable have filed a patent application. That will enable your PSP to control a RC car in a 3D virtual environment.

How I read it. Is there will be a camera mounted on the RC car, that will show the image on your PSP screen. Simple enough. But software will turn the cat you are chasing or being chased, into a huge dragon for example or the chair you have just passed into a virtual cliff face. All on your PSP screen.

This idea sounds fully sick. It's RC virtual reality, imagine the possibilities.........

Here's a fully sick picture of my RC Baja 5B SS. I took today during a bash session.

I hope you're jealous :)

Combining RC airplanes and fireworks on the 4th of July, results in a fully sick video. Especially through the eyes of the RC pilot with flak coming up to greet you!!

This video is mostly made up of FPV ( first person view ) footage. Meaning the RC pilot puts on a pair of goggles and see's what a real pilot would see if he were up there in the RC plane. It's a whole new and exiting part of this great hobby! More info here
Enjoy!

If you are a Transformers fan, you can now buy a RC version of everyone's favorite autobots. Optimus Prime and Bubblebee. No word yet, if you can buy a baddy one though.

You know you want one ( and Megan Fox ). So the plan would be to use your "little kids" as an excuse to get one. To get Megan Fox?..........mmmmm

Check this thing out!!! How "fully sick" is this RC chopper?!

It's a 1/8th scale version of the Russian Mil Mi- 24 troop transporter. Don't know much detail about the actual RC version, but..... just watch the video :)

Up for some RC car racing action?!

Then checkout RCUniverse's YouTube channel for current coverage of the ROAR Nationals 2009.
It's good stuff!

The need for speed is as old as the need for beer. Anything that can be pushed or pulled harder has been, and continues to be by the few who strive to make "it" go, that much faster. From boats to ride on lawnmowers.
In the world of RC, it's no different!

Meet the guy and his RC Car that holds the world record for the fastest RC car, and some of the competition!

Also check out this compilation video of all the other RC cars that were there to break records!!!

Wanna have a go? - go to RC-ISC for more info

Check out this video of a alligator chasing a RC boat. This also happened to me years ago. Didn't get it on video sadly.

I remember thinking it was a duck or something. ( I was far away ). I drove towards the "duck" then turned away before I got out of range.
Then what do you know, a alligator leaps out the water and chases my RC boat. It was that close, if my prop hit a weed or something and slowed down. It was a gonna.

What got me thinking was how aggressive the alligator was. Once I got my RC boat to shore, it went under. I continued to drive around because I had a crowd watching, so I couldn't disappoint. 30 seconds later the alligator breaks the surface and attempts to chase the RC boat AGAIN.

This time my brother threw rocks at it to chase it away. Which did the trick. I beached the RC boat as quick as possible and then called it a day.

The crowd loved it though!!

Here is another case where RC comes to the rescue. We are seeing RC airplanes replacing the fighter jocks. Now we can see yet again, RC coming to the rescue. Keeping our hands clean and keeping our lunch down.

Using RC submarines, an Italian company is running fiber-optic cable through sewer pipes.
Without having to dig up the pipes or run new length's of pipe, that costs money and labor. RC'ers come technicians instead use the RC submarines to drag the cable through the cr@p. Saving money, time and lunch.
How fully sick is this!!!

RC in the spotlight - Spanish police foiled a Italian drug traffickers plan to use a RC blimp to fly night vision goggles and climbing equipment to the prisoner, so he could climb down and escape.
More here.

This type of bad publicity tarnishes the RC industry as a whole. Creating more rules and regulations the do-gooders out there want to make. This results in a hobby that will become more expensive to get into. Limiting the amount of RC'ers this great hobby wants and needs.

That's a no no!!!

The project for this weekend will hopefully get the kids off the couch and helping you clean the house at the same time.

All it involves is a cheap RC car and a electrostatic mop mounted to the front of the RC car.
Then get your kids to drive it around! It's that cheap to make you could make a whole team of RC car moper's, one for each kid!

Enjoy!!!

Here's another RC cyborg for the Military RC'ers. This time it's "disguised" as a rat that uses it's whiskers to feel around.

I know it's more of a robot than a RC vehicle, but it still uses servos and other RC stuff.

That still makes it fully sick!!!

Imagine the Military building a bigger one of these. A RC Mecha Godzilla!!!

More RC military toys - A RC flying hummingbird that actually has flapping wings

DARPA, the "think beyond the box" organization, that gave us the Internet and many other things that still remain classified. Has know given us, well.... not us RC'ers but the military RC'ers a RC beetle.

A cyborg beetle to be exact. It's a real live beetle that has has all sorts of classified electronics stuffed into its head. Giving the RC'er complete control over the beetle.
The applications for this type of RC technology is enormous. On both sides of the coin, the good and bad.
Lets hope we won't need Optimus Prime to give us his words of wisdom speech to keep us on the straight line with this kind of technology!
